Projects co-financed by the Government of the Principality of Asturias through IDEPA and the Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation (PCTI) 2013-2017, and the EU through the ERDF Funds

The overall objective of the Landfill4Health project is to research and demonstrate the use of a non-hazardous waste landfill and its complementary facilities to house an industrial microalgae culture to produce high-value active ingredients in the field of nutraceutics, health and cosmetics. To do this, INGEMAS will be in charge of the design and development of the pilot plant.
