The R&D centers of large companies, such as TSK ST CENTER, are nowadays real engines of economic development for the region.
Last Monday, the Minister of Science, Business, Training and Employment, Borja Sanchez, held a meeting with representatives of 14 R&D centers of large companies located in Asturias. This meeting is part of the strategy of the Principality to promote these centers as poles of attraction and retention of talent in the region. An initiative that has already borne fruit, with the creation of almost 100 jobs in the last year.
A clear example of this commitment to innovation is TSK ST Center, which is already developing 3 projects with a total investment of 1,700,000 euros. The objective is for the group’s investment in R&D+i to reach 2% of sales within 5 years, which implies almost doubling the current investment. This commitment will allow TSK to offer its customers technological advantages in its products which will make them more competitive and improve margins.
In short, the R&D centers of large companies such as TSK ST Center are a fundamental asset for the economic development of Asturias. Their commitment to innovation and the generation of high quality employment is an example to follow for other companies in the region.
