On August 18, the Vice-Minister of Labor of Mozambique, Osvaldo Petersburg, visited the Ressano García plant, where TSK carried out the EPC and will also participate in Operation and Maintenance during the first 5 years of the plant. The deputy minister expressed his satisfaction with the participation of Mozambican workers in the operation of the plant and made mention of the special importance of the transfer of technology that is being carried out.

At this event Gigawatt also announced its intention to expand the capacity of the plant by 60MW during the year 2018, and signed an agreement for the training of Mozambican workers in the area of energy.
