The general purpose of the PVoltai4.0 project is to design and develop an advanced system to assist the operation and maintenance tasks of a photovoltaic plant with the ultimate goal of improving its performance and optimizing its operation, which will ultimately translate into an increase in the reliability and useful life of the plant. This system will be developed according to the principles of the Industry 4.0 paradigm, especially with regard to the integration of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Big Data analysis and advanced visualization.
