Head of Risk Management

TSK needs to incorporate a Risk Management Manager, for the execution of EPC Projects of Energy and Industrial Plants of international scope.

Functions:

  • Lead and influence change management efforts related to risks and opportunities specified by senior management.
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with risk policies and processes.
  • Responsible for driving risk and opportunity management behaviours to improve the maturity of the project management organisation.
  • Implement project reviews to ensure that key risks are properly identified, risk registers have comprehensive mitigation plans and are developed according to a consistent execution plan with adequate controls in place. Lead portfolio level risk reviews and coordinate mitigation/risk and corrective action plans.
  • Identify, track, escalate and help manage various emerging risks and opportunity categories in collaboration with internal teams involved.
  • Perform predictive analytics at project level to identify key risk categories based on experience to develop risk management standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to minimise risk and capitalise on opportunities.
  • Review key risks with operations leaders, and identify systemic risks to be addressed at leadership level.
  • Facilitate high quality decision making and actions to improve project performance.
  • Identify and implement best practices that contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, training and templates.

Requirements:

  • University education, preferably in Industrial Engineering.
  • Preferably with a degree in project management, business or contract management.
  • Course or postgraduate degree in Risk Management.
  • Specific knowledge in project management, contract management, cost control, bid and project risk management, planning, financial and operational risk control, risk assessment.
  • Proficient in Office package.
  • High level of English.
  • Experience of at least 10 years performing functions as Site Manager, Deputy Site Manager, Risk Manager/s and/or Cost Control in international engineering companies and/or international EPC contracting.
