Civilian Technical Leader for the Technical Management Department

We are looking for a Civil Technical Leader for the Technical Management Department, responsible for leading the Civil Technical area that will support the Project Managers in the management of the scope of the civil area of the turnkey projects executed in the Energy and Industrial Plants Division.

Functions:
– Verify compliance of the designs according to the contract and specifications.
– Optimise in terms of cost and time the criteria and designs proposed in the basic engineering developed in the commercial phase.
– Align the civil engineering to be developed with the strategies defined by the project management for the management of purchases and subcontracts.
– Establish and coordinate the strategies for the development of engineering and execution of singular structures of the projects.
– Monitor the execution of the civil scope of the projects to ensure compliance with budget targets
– Organise and coordinate the technical and human resources of the department for the execution of assigned tasks
-Standardise and implement monitoring and control procedures in the civil area that help verify compliance with the technical scope of the projects executed in the division.

Requirements:
– Senior Engineer with extensive experience in the comprehensive management of civil engineering in energy projects and industrial plants at international level.
– Experience in participating in the entire life cycle of the technical management of the civil area of projects: Engineering (from the conceptual phase), procurement phase, contracting and execution phase.
– Capacity for technical-contractual analysis in the management of the civil scope that promotes the reduction of time, cost and quality risks in projects.
– Solid technical knowledge of the discipline
– Accustomed to working with the regulations and technical specifications of industrial clients.
– Experience in defining civil designs and civil execution strategies for turnkey industrial projects.
– Familiar with the interpretation of geotechnical reports for the definition of associated civil design criteria.
