In Guanajuato, on March 1, 2025, the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, inaugurated CFE’s Salamanca Combined Cycle Power Plant, built by the TSK-Mitsubishi consortium. This plant will contribute 927 MW to the National Electric System, benefiting 5 million people in the Bajío area.

This plant is part of the set of 7 combined cycle plants that TSK is currently executing in the Aztec country.
