18 December, 2019
TSK has won in the national phase of the Quality Innovation Award (QIA) in the large company category for the SISDRON project, an aerial platform for monitoring industrial plants.
The jury highlighted that the project meets the five characteristics that were valued: novelty, usefulness, learning, customer orientation and effectiveness. The award was given last Tuesday, December 4, in a ceremony held in the auditorium of the CSIC, in Madrid, with the presence of several authorities. TSK received the award from the President of the Quality Club, Francisco Vaciero.
The group of entities that administer the Quality Innovation Award (QIA) is led by Excellence Finland and coordinated in Spain by the Association of Centres of Excellence (CEX), which has recognized eight Spanish organizations in the national phase of the Quality Innovation Award (QIA).
The SISDRON project aims to automate O&M tasks in industrial plants through the use of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), also known as drones. The main innovation of the project lies in the integration of the aerial data obtained by the UAV in a Big Data platform. From this platform, both the automatic generation of air missions and the visualization of the information collected in them are carried out.
