Procurement/Subcontracting Manager

We need to incorporate in our Purchasing Department a Purchasing/Subcontracting Manager, for international projects in a global context, with the aim of ensuring the scopes and deadlines established, with the necessary levels of quality and safety, under the best commercial conditions.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Study the markets in the project environment to identify potential
  • Carry out and lead tendering processes to potential Suppliers/Subcontractors, centralising internal and external communications related to the process.
  • Track progress of receipt of bids (Update RFQ tracking sheets)
  • Make documentary records of offers
  • Carrying out the analysis, evaluation and tabulation of tenders. Checking the technical conditions to ensure the homogeneity of the bids.
  • Identify opportunities for savings and optimisation in procurement/subcontracting.
  • Carry out global technical-economic analyses of Suppliers/Subcontractors whose impact on the Project is relevant.
  • To carry out the process of negotiating prices and the rest of the commercial conditions until the order/subcontract is closed, scrupulously following the company’s codes of ethics and conduct.
  • Establish and maintain commercial relations with Suppliers/Subcontractors in order to achieve the best prices and the economic objectives of the Projects.
  • Work on the identification of risks and opportunities in Purchasing/Subcontracting, in the market and in the environment of the Projects.
  • Drawing up and drafting orders/subcontracts.
  • To carry out the formalisation of the clauses of the Orders/Subcontracts (ERP).
  • Manage the signing of Orders/Subcontracts
  • Follow-up of orders
  • Issue Purchasing/Subcontracting reports

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical Training
  • Experience in purchasing area.
  • Fluent/advanced English level
